Floor load limit
The standard EU curtainsider floor is rated at 5,000 kg/m². Heavy cargo on a small footprint can exceed this even when total weight is legal. Use load-spreading boards for dense items.
Axle load limits

Securing standard
All cargo must be secured per EN 12195. Minimum lashing force: 50% of cargo weight forward, 25% lateral. Curtain fabric is weather protection only — never a securing element.
