You Bought the LDM. Now Make Sure Your Cargo Fits In It.
When you purchase a fixed LDM allocation from a broker, the risk is yours if the cargo doesn't fit. Hansatic arranges your items to minimize floor footprint — stacking where possible, rotating for best fit — so your shipment stays within the LDM you paid for.
Optimize My LDM AllocationHow LDM Minimization Works
Enter your cargo and your LDM limit
Add your items with dimensions, weights, and stackability flags. Hansatic knows the standard trailer width (2.4m) and calculates floor footprint live. You'll immediately see whether your cargo fits within your purchased LDM or not.
Auto-arrange for minimum floor footprint
One click arranges items to minimize LDM: stackable items are stacked to their maximum safe height, items are rotated to their most compact floor orientation. The 3D view shows exactly how the cargo sits on the trailer floor.
Verify you're within your allocation
The LDM counter shows your optimized footprint against your purchased allocation. Green means you're within it. If you're still over, the planner identifies which items are driving the overage — so you can decide whether to repack, remove items, or renegotiate the allocation.
Hand the plan to your warehouse
Export a PDF or share the link with your loading crew. The plan shows the exact arrangement that achieves minimum LDM — your crew follows it and you don't lose money to overage surcharges.
